Penguin

Penguin is a member of the Crew and Girl's close friend. Its real name is Sphence. It is a linux techno-mage of no clan affiliation. After the Corpo-Foss war, Penguin followed Puffy into exile and for 80 years was his only companion.

In [issue] #? What Else Was I to Do, it was revealed that Penguin was Purple of the arch_company, an elite group of Linux soldiers, who played a major role in ending the Corpo-Foss war.

In the spinoff series Fosschild, Penguin is seen accompanying Fosschild on its adventures.

Book of the Clown

During its adventures with Fosschild, Penguin acquires the covetted Book of the Clown. An occult tome said to contain the entirety of knowledge surrounding the world of Analog Nowhere
