Penguin

Penguin is a member of the Crew and Girl's close friend. It is a linux techno-mage. After the Corpo-Foss war, Penguin followed Puffy into exile and for 80 years was his only companion.

It has been revealed that Penguin was in fact one of the members of the arch_company, who played a major role in the Corpo-Foss war, but it is not known which of the five members he actually was - though it's fairly certain he was not Red, because Red is dead.

In the spinoff series Fosschild, Penguin is seen accompanying Fosschild on its adventures.
